German multinational firm – Profine – is planning to invest Rs 100 crore in India. The leading manufacturer of window and door profiles, has already invested Rs 35 crore for a new extrusion plant at Savli through its Indian subsidiary – Profine India Window Technology Private Limited.
“The new extrusion plant at Vadodara will manufacture unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) under the brand Koemmerling,” owner cum CEO of Profine Group Dr Peter Mrosik said here while interacting with media persons on Saturday.
The plant at Savli spread over 14,000 square metre has initial capacity to manufacture 3,000 metric tonnes from three extrusion lines, which will be subsequently increased to 10 lines with a production capacity of up to 12,000 metric tonnes.
“The production facility at Vadodara counts among the current largest investments of our group. It shows our clear commitment to the Indian market and its outstanding growth potential,” he said.
