Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd aims to move ahead, from its existing profile as supplier to the jewellery wholesale market to retail market. According the reports, the jewellery manufacturing company, based in southern India in Coimbatore, will set up its own jewellery stores.

The company intends to take its retail strategy forward through business associates. Foing with the plan, the first three stores to open in Puducherry, Kallakurichi and Coimbatore, all of which are in South India, in the following weeks.

Its retail formats would be through stores retailing jewellery exclusively manufactured by Emerald Jewel under the brand ‘Jewel One’ in addition to stores which also stock their own jewellery, reports say.
