As per the senior company official, KFC outlets would be opened in cities such as Ludhiana and Hyderabad. Plans have also been firmed up to open one more outlet in Pune. The company is also seeking a presence in Mumbai and Delhi. All the outlets to be set up will be on franchisee basis. The franchisee will pay KFC 6 per cent of its turnover as franchisee fee and an additional 5 per cent as marketing expenses. Setting up a franchisee entails an investment of Rs 1.75-2 crore.
KFC comes to Kolkata
KFC – Kentucky Fried Chicken has unveiled plans for an all-India rollout with opening a new outlet in Kolkata. Apart from this KFC has five outlets in Bangalore and one each in Pune and Chandigarh. One more outlet is to open in Kolkata soon.
