The Subway restaurant chain has opened its 350th restaurant in India at Jalandhar.
The chain’s plans for India are in line with its growth plans for Asia, with a target of opening more than 3,000 outlets by 2017.
Area Development Manager of Subway India, Robby Gulri, said that the brand works to ensure a good balance of offerings.
11 Subway restaurants are completely owned by local franchisees. Karan Veer Singh, owner of the new franchise at Jalandhar said, “Subway’s low start-up costs, simple operation, flexible floor plans and reputation attracted me to the concept.”
