Lladro – Spanish porcelain maker is looking to expand into tier 2 cities. The brand wants to increase its presence and redefine its presentation by opening shop-in-shops and Lladro exclusive stores. The brand, at present, has nine exclusive stores and 25 shop-in-shops across India.

“We intend to cover the country more from the geographical sense and we�re also looking at expansion in tier 2 cities. We have our presence in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune and we are looking at cities like Vizag, Ahemedabad and many more this year,” said by the officials.

Lladro is looking to set up 15 stores by 2011-2012 and 40 shop-in-shops. For the brand, luxury has arrived in India and it is on marketers to provide the right mix of product, customer service and a uniform brand experience to build up this market consistently.
