Celebrating the launch Mr. Naveen Rakhecha – CEO – South Asia, Cartridge World said “Cartridge World has a strong presence in all the major Indian cities. We are now looking at aggressively expanding into Tier II and Tier III cities too. At Cartridge World the slowdown has catalyzed our growth process. Even the staunchest ‘OEM only’ user is now ready to give us a chance as cost cutting becomes imperative. The presence of a globally established brand which offers guaranteed service helps them take this first step more reassuringly.” Talking about the Kolkata launch he said “After the Lake Town store we are set to launch our 7th store in Kolkata located at Kasba in the first week of January 2010 and 3 to 4 more stores in the coming year”. Cartridge World has chalked out aggressive expansion plans for the Indian sub-continent. Apart from spreading its wings in the Tier II and Tier III cities in India, the company also has plans to launch stores in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. It plans to take its tally of Franchisee stores to approximately 250 across the Indian sub-continent over the next 2 to 3 years. He added, “On the franchising front as the sentiments settle down people are beginning to realize that fortunes will not be made at the stock or realty market and they need to get down to conducting fundamentally strong businesses. Many Senior Managers are turning entrepreneur as the job market hits a low and uncertainty looms large. With an established brand, system and a business concept which is certain to thrive in this economic meltdown situation, at our disposal and with the strong support of our franchisees, partners & employees we are upbeat and all set to make the most of it.”Globally, Cartridge World has helped promote recharging & reusing cartridges – the organised way, thereby substantially contributing in creating awareness about the importance of reusing before recycling and saving the environment. The basic Mantra for environment friendliness is Reduce – Reuse – Recycle, in that order of priority. Reduce – Print only when necessary. Reuse – Paper and cartridges. Recycle – Paper and Cartridges when they cannot be reused anymore. Cartridge Recharging promotes Reuse & Recycle.  Speaking at the launch Mr. Anirvid Sarkar, Cartridge World franchise owner of the Lake Town store said, “We are very happy to be associated with Cartridge World and introduce its world class services to the people of Kolkata.
