Genuine Broaster Chicken has tied up with Yellow Tie Hospitality, an India-based food, and beverage franchise management company to open its outlets in India.
Apart from offering its unique chicken to the customers, celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi who has been appointed as the brand ambassador of GBC in India will give the dishes an Indian touch.
“GBC has been an integral part of America’s food heritage and we at Yellow Tie hospitality felt it was time to introduce it to the Indian consumers so they can enjoy a comparatively healthier version of fried chicken,” Karan Tanna, the Founder and CEO of Yellow Tie Hospitality, said in a statement.
The new outlet welcomes the customers with a vintage American restaurant look. Vintage furniture, mosaic mirrors, ornamental windows, vintage lamppost, and old school brass lights and metal grills have been used for this purpose.
The franchise owner said that the outlets of GBC would fill the gap between the demand and supply of fried chicken. “There is a huge gap in the demand and supply of quality fried chicken and GBC will surely fill that gap,” Rahul Motwani, Founder of Meera Corporation and franchise owner of the Versova outlet, said.
“With this association, it will give me an opportunity to introduce an ‘Indo-American’ cuisine, where we will offer traditional Indian dishes in a modern day, youth oriented and fun format,” said Harpal Singh Sokhi.
Soon, the outlets of GBC will be opened in many cities including Raipur, Imphal, Surat, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Patna, Vijayawada and Gangtok.
