Arotech Corporation announced today that its Training and Simulation Division’s FAAC unit has established a FAAC India franchise. Viswire Training and Simulation Limited, an India-based company specializing in the development of visualization and simulation applications, will operate the franchise in cooperation with FAAC Incorporated. The franchise agreement will allow for a greater exchange of information between the two companies. It will also expand the potential for Indian-content product and solutions delivered by FAAC India.
“FAAC, as a global leader in simulation technologies, combined with Viswire’s market reach and technical expertise in India, makes FAAC India the only logical choice for the Indian simulator market,” said Subramanian Iswaran, Viswire Training and Simulation President. “FAAC India works collaboratively with customers to deliver the right products to address their needs with capabilities not available until now.”
The partnership formalizes a successful relationship that has already begun delivering truck driver training simulators to Ashok-Leyland and is marketing the broader use of simulation systems within India.
“FAAC’s 40 years of simulation experience, coupled with Viswire’s knowledge of the local simulation market requirements, are the ideal team to service the region,” said Kurt Flosky, FAAC Incorporated Executive Vice President. “Together, we have a strong capability and capacity to serve the simulation needs of the emerging Indian market.”
