By December-2010 company’s target is to venture into Tier-2 cities like Ludhiana and also the North Eastern states. The company is looking at tapping the upwardly mobile urban consumers in small cities who are on the loom out for brands in the estimated Rs 700 crore Indian organised cafe retail market. The new outlets would be a mix of company-owned and franchise operated.The Company is also giving a new touch to its menu by brining in new beverages and dishes with Mexican, Italian and Moroccan flavours, said by a senior company official.
Besides the Mocha chain, Impresario also operates another 15-odd restaurants of other brands including Smoke House Grill, Salf Water Cafe and Del Italia.
