Tele Stars Gaurav Gera to play ‘Bhola’ and Shweta Gulati to be ‘Meena’
Kingdom of Dreams, India’s first unique live entertainment destination is all set to win over the audiences with its second, grand and mesmerising theatrical production – ‘Jhumroo’, a dramatic musical comedy celebrating the spirit of Kishore Kumar.
After the splendid success of Zangoora, The Gypsy Prince, Jhumroo, a spectacular musical comedy premiers on 7th April 2012 at Nautanki Mahal, Kingdom of Dreams. This vibrant song and dance drama recreates the dazzle and spectacular special effects that have characterised Zangoora, The Gypsy Prince, hailed the world over as the best bollywood musical stage showever. The vivid visuals and backdrops of Jhumroo, on stage, are a perfect foil to the drama that combines song, dance, humour, pathos, love and anger. The story of this vibrant musical is communicated through words and iconic music of Kishore Kumar.Jhumroo is presented and produced by Wizcraft International Entertainment & Apra Group’s joint Venture company, Great Indian Nautanki Company.
After over 800 auditions, the makers of Jhumroo finally zeroed upon the cast of this splendid theatrical. Gaurav Gera, with many popular television shows and bollywood movies to his credit, is playing the male lead Bhola, the 25 year old innocent boy who has this dream in his eyes to become the singing idol of the country. Shweta Gulati, best known for her roles in Remix and Dill Mill Gayye on Indian television, plays Bhola’s love interest Meena. She is a sweet simple girl with a little sense of humor and loves music herself. How Bhola achieves his dreams is a simple tale with a little bit of magic that will make the audience fall in love with him!

Gaurav and Shweta have been chosen after auditioning around hundreds of actors for this musical. The respective roles of Bhola and Meena suit them to the tee. Gaurav as Bhola brings a certain amount of innocence and childlike enthusiasm to the role, where as Shweta personifies Meena’s oomph yet down to earth attitude effortlessly. I am sure the audience will love their chemistry and they will justify their respective characters.”
With an exclusive compilation of approximately 20 retro songs from Kishore Kumar’s exceptional films, the show will captivate everyone with twists and turns in the storyline and an astonishing use of technology in India’s most advanced theatre.

ZANGOORA’ – The Gypsy Prince, world’s biggest cinematic themed theatrical musical commenced at the magnificent Nautanki Mahal fifteen months ago and completed its sensational run of over 600 successful earlier this month.
