The total marketing budget is estimated to be over Rs 35 crore, according to sources. The agency will handle the entire portfolio of Lavazza business, from coffee shops to vending services and other traditional businesses through its offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. In India, Lavazza operates with different brands – Fresh & Honest Cafe, Barista Lavazza and Espression.
The selection of Law & Kenneth came after pitches and presentations from numerous creative agencies were made earlier in March 2011 with the Italian head office representatives. According to a report in The Economic Times, the Lavazza umbrella brand is going in for a major revamp for its brands to sharpen its focus on India and would gradually shift to an entirely new strategy.
