Franchise News India : Lazeez Affaire Group to use franchise model for expansion,Priyank Sukhija, Owner, Lazeez Affaire Group that operates 22 F&B outlets under the name OTB, Boombox, Raas and Fork You across price points — plans to open 150 restaurants and cafes across Indiaand international locations like the US, Dubai and London along through franchise partners in the next seven years stated a report by Vijaya Rathore in ET.
The company has appointed marketing and consultancy firm CybizCorp as the master franchisee to find other partners for him. “We will build a chain of restaurants of each of the brands Sukhija owns with a plan to expand not only across India, but also outside,” Sam Chopra, Chairman, CybizCorp said.
“We are simply replicating what happens globally,” he said. Projects are in the works in Mumbai, Pune and Patna and talks are on with a couple of parties in Toronto. Sukhija currently owns 11 brands and he said he’ll launch three more brands in the next couple of months. As per his deal with CybizCorp, Sukhija will continue to invest in promising projects.
For instance, he has a substantial stake in the upcoming 40,000-square-feet Boombox Cafe in Pune, which he has franchised. He said it will be India’s largest restaurant.
