A subsidiary of Bharti Enterprises, Bharti Retail, plans to set up 70 retail stores by December. The company aims to earn revenue of about Rs 1,000 crore over the next three years.
Bharti Retail would also look at venturing new region (apart from the north) to add another zone for the company’s expansions. The company would invest close to $2 billion (around Rs 10,000 crore) by 2017 to fund its growth and expansion needs, said by the officials.
