November will be seeing the flow of a much-awaited Apple’s iPhone 5 in the retail market.
An Apple India spokesperson said distributors Ingram Micro and Redington India will start supplying iPhone 5 from November 2 to retailers.
Ingram Micro and Redington India handles the distribution of Apple products in India.
Ingram Micro in a statement said “it will offer iPhone 5 at leading modern trade stores and retail outlets across India beginning Friday, November 2”.
However, the price of iPhone5 is still kept mystery by both Ingram Micro and Redington India. Apple itself hasn’t disclosed the selling price in India.
According to Ingram Micro spokesperson, iPhone 5 will be launched in 40 cities in India.
IPhone 5 measures 7.6 millimetres thin and weighs 112 grams which is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than iPhone 4S.
This new version of iPhone 5 has 4-inch display.
This new phone is built on A6 chip, which Apple says, is up to twice as fast compared with the A5 chip that were available in previous version of phone.
“So apps launch, web pages load and email attachments appear almost instantly,” Apple said in a statement.
