LOS ANGELES: Saban Brands and MarVista Entertainment have placed Power Rangers Megaforce with new broadcast partners in EMEA, Australia and Asia.
The latest installment of the long-running franchise is headed to Mediaset’s Italia 1 and Boing in Italy, Club RTL in Belgium and Luxembourg and Australia’s Channel 9. It was also picked up by Nickelodeon in India, MBC in the Middle East and Africa’s ETV. The show currently airs on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons in North America, YTV and TELETOON in Canada, Gulli and Canal J in France and Channel 5 in the U.K. It will be on offer at this year’s MIP Junior.
“Every one of our newly signed broadcasters for Power Rangers Megaforce are existing partners for the franchise, each one already bringing Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai to viewers in their territories,” noted Fernando Szew, the CEO of MarVista Entertainment. “It’s a testament to Saban Brands’ ongoing vision and creativity for the Power Rangers franchise that the series, now in its 20th season, continues to attract top tier broadcast partners and a loyal fan base all over the world.”
