Reliance Trends – the apparel, luggage and accessories arm of the Reliance Retail Group – has opened its 1st store at Thane at Korum Mall. Recently, Reliance Trends announced its major expansion plan to open 100 stores by 2012 when it launched its first store at Chennai at Mylapore.
According to senior company officials, with their incredible price offering combined with the number of outlets, Reliance Trends is all set to transform the apparel industry in India.
The Thane outlet of Reliance Trends has a reach of 23,000 square feet shopping area and offers more than 100 Indian and international brands for men, women and kids. Reliance Trends is also targeting Tier I and II cities along with the metro cities as they have the advantage of lower rentals and lesser property prices.
Reliance Retail has opened many Reliance Trends stores in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai as well as several tier two cities such as Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Jalandhar, Ahmedabad etc. Reliance Trends remains the only apparel outlet unaffected by the economic downturn and with the launch of Thane store, Reliance Retail is looking to expand aggressively strengthening its foothold over the Indian Apparel industry.
Apart from the ready-to-wear garments, the store also caters to consumers who prefer to shop for fabric and tailor their clothes.
